Alexander Hanley DDS, MSD

Originally from Colorado, Dr. Hanley attended college at Santa Clara University and then dental school training at the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry here in San Francisco. After dental school, he completed a General Practice Residency at Naval Medical Center San Diego for advanced training. He then served for two years as the dental officer on board the USS DUBUQUE (LPD 8), treating the general dental needs of 1,100 Sailors and Marines during two overseas deployments.

Dr. Hanley has also taught at the University of the Pacific dental school as a clinical instructor, contributed to research efforts at the Pacific Endodontics Research Lab, and he has volunteered his dental services at the Rotacare Bay Area – San Leandro clinic.

Dr. Hanley completed his Certificate in Endodontics and Masters of Science in Dentistry from the University of Washington. Following endodontic training, he was in private practice in downtown Seattle prior to moving back to the Bay Area.

Dr. Hanley strives for the highest standards of endodontic care with compassion, warmth, and a personal touch for all persons in need. Besides dentistry, he enjoys traveling, and spending time with his wife and their daughters, Isla and Reese.
